University of North Texas Ecology student interested in plant identification, fungus, and entomology. I have a fascination with mycorrhizal fungi as a means to promote soil biodiversity.

A few of my favorite insects are wood-boring beetles, odonates, orthopterans, cicadas, and gall wasps.

I am currently in Illinois working at the Morton Arboretum working on an ecto-mycorrhizal (ECM) traits research project, where I am temporally analyzing enzymatic activity in the soil containing ECM in plots that have White Pine and Shagbark Hickory.

I previously worked as a Lab Technician in Dr. Elinor Lichtenberg Plant-Pollinator interaction lab. The lab researches the effects of different methods of cattle grazing on pollinators. I use iNaturalist to identify and research different plants while curating profiles of how to identify them in the field for the lab's field techs.
