Howdy! I have a broad range of interests, but mostly stick to whatever sits still long enough for me to take a photo (I don't have very good reflexes or photography skills lol). Currently that's plants, galls, leafminers, and slow-moving insects. I'm also slowly getting into bird, bat, and insect calls.

I cut my naturalist teeth tidepooling on the Carolina coast as a kid, and eventually got around to a degree in botany later in life. Currently I work for an arboretum in Ohio propagating and caring for plants, checking out the birds and bugs along the way.
