Full-time Ph.D. student at Texas A&M studying the adaptation, diversification, and speciation of mammals. I specialize in carnivores. 🐾

My research uses felids and felid hybrids to characterize regions of the genome that cause hybrid sterility, which in turn drive speciation. I also assist in research related to behavior, ecology, and conservation. You can learn more about my research at http://www.eutherialab.org.

If you ever find a mammal (carnivore or not) that you think might be a hybrid, please ping me!

Part-time bird, lepidopteran, wildflower, and herp enthusiast.

Forever learner.

Ask me what a species is. ;)
