𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘺𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘮 𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘪 Cogn. é uma orquídea epífita com ocorrência no Sudeste e Sul do Brasil. Essa planta difere muito dos "padrões" característicos das orquídeas devido a ausência de folhas e seu rizoma muito reduzido.
Sua parte vegetativa é composta por suas raízes que envolvem a planta, o que a faz ficar invisível entre musgos e raízes de outras plantas.
O nome popular de orquídea-fantasma (orchid ghost) é atribuído a plantas semelhantes a esta ao redor do mundo. 🌎👻

𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘺𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘮 𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘪 Cogn. is an epiphytic orchid occurring in the Southeast and South of Brazil. This plant differs greatly from the characteristic "patterns" of orchids due to the absence of leaves and its very reduced rhizome.
Its vegetative part is made up of its roots that surround the plant, which makes it invisible among mosses and roots of other plants.
The popular name ghost orchid is attributed to plants similar to it around the world. 🌎👻
