Habitat 2

Wide range of habitats from 100 to 2,100 m asl. It is mostly found in wet premontane, montane forests, cloud forests and gallery forests.

Description 2

This species is a caespitose, miniature epiphytic orchid, which grows as an epiphyte with short, minute, ramicauls encased by 3 shortly imbricate, open subtubular papery sheaths with a single, apical, narrowly oblanceolate, long attenuate, channeled to the petiolate base, apex tridenticulate, coriaceous, dark green leaf where it blooms on a lateral, 4" [10 cm] long, from the apex of the ramicaul [well developed erect one leafed stems], filiform [thin], slightly fractiflex [zigzagged], racemose, several [8 to 11] flowered inflorescence with minute, ovate-triangular, pale brown floral bracts that is much longer than the leaves occuring in the spring through late summer.
