The graceful flower of Cinquefoil has five spreading petals that surround a conical floral receptacle with many pistils. Each flower has 5 sepals, 5 petals, and 20 stamens. Cinquefoil is also called Five-Fingers in reference to its picturesque compound leaves with 5-7 coarsely toothed leaflets that arise from a common point like an open hand.
