Shape: 20 to 35 feet tall
Leaf: Dark green, toothed edge, turn purplish in fall, about 7 cm in length, acuminate at the apex, truncated at the base
Flower: White, axillary clusters, 20 mm across, 5 petals
Bark: Smooth, with flossy brown color at maturity
Fruit or Seed: Bears round fruit in clusters, up to 15 mm across
