Sanicula crassicaulis is a species of flowering plant in the parsley family known by the common names Pacific sanicle and Pacific blacksnakeroot. Sanicula crassicaulis is distributed in the far west of North America from British Columbia south to Washington, Oregon, California and Baja California. Jepson reports the species to be present in southern South America, but its presence there has been suggested to be an alien species.

Also known by the common name Pacific blacksnakeroot, this species has a stout growth form, emanating from a taproot and rising to a height of 20 centimeters. The green leaves are simple, palmately lobed, green with a length of three to twelve centimeters.
