Ubud Bali is a pretty famous touristy spot - much better suited to eat-pray-love fans than biodiversity fans and not that great a spot to naturalize. But if you end up stuck here for a few days, I'd recommend frogging the rice paddies. I was here in the middle of the dry season, but because they flood the fields through a complex irrigation system, there were two species calling from the fields themselves and I was able to track down 3 more in the little ponds around the fields. Would love some ID help if anyone knows their Indonesian frogs!
Calling from a fountain in a courtyard - these are abundant even in semi-urban areas
Quite common in the slightly wetter portions of the rice paddies
Several making alot of noise from a small ornamental lilypond in someone's yard
Abundant in the drier portions of the rice paddies
